Home x NAIDOC Week

Home Richmond

At HOME, we honour the work of our First Nation’s artists and crafts people across our communities with our Home Art Collection and through cultural event workshops that we feature hosted by our indigenous partners.

We thank the following artists for their artistic contributions proudly on display at Home Southbank and Home Richmond: Belinda Goldner Kngwarre, Edward Blitner, Nioka Morgan-Briggs, Jarra Karalinar Steel and Mandy Smith.

For NAIDOC week we have invited Alchemy Orange, established by proud Yorta Yorta artist Shahn Stewart to present a dynamic fusion of botanical art. In this work, delicate blooms, sculptural branches, and unexpected organic elements form an intricate and vibrant tapestry, celebrating Country.

From exhibition spaces to immersive botanical installations featured at festivals and events across Victoria, (including the Australian Open, Yirramboi Festival, and many more). Alchemy Orange embodies the spirit of a First Nations-owned and operated business that works thoughtfully on Country.

This floral design will be on display at Home Richmond across the coming week for our residents and guests to experience and enjoy.
